Fireworks help needed
« on: May 27 2011, 03:55:46 PM »
Just a long shot, anybody near Reading or Lancaster PA that can help with a fireworks show. I didn't know how many PA people we have here. I could use just one more person, all kinds of crappy stuff happening to the guys on my team. 1in a million shot but maybe somebody just can't wait to learn Fireworks. This Saturday afternoon.

If I was closer, I would show up with flint pants on and be drunk, of course.

Indeed, not that many opportunities to learn how to do it the right way from a professional.

( why do I reread that and expect Sylvan will find a way to reinterpret)

On a local level, when we tell people we're from Marietta, the response is usually: we heard you guys are crazy. Realistacilly, we've been doin it for so long, we pull off stuff you wouldn't want to do right away. Fireworks on there own are unstable so it usually only goes down hill if you screw up. I like to wire the finales. It takes alot of time, that's why I would like to have help tomorrow. I try to fuse them so they go off as fast as they can. Last year I think I nailed it, I bout made the whole finale go off in way to quick atime, I watched the racks go bout 6" off the ground. I said to myself: I probably should tone it down. Told the owner how it went, he just  shook his and said, do me a favor a don't do that again.

As a follow up, had a great show. Found out though the Del. beach show I am scheduled to do is HUGE. I am scrounging for help already. 7/4/11. I can't wait, it's the biggest show so far that I have been in charge of. I got a glimpse of the shell roster and bout lost it. My Marietta team will only be a drop in the bucket.
