New rear end

I ordered a new rear end for my car, It's a 9" with disc brakes from Checkered Racing. their web site says that it weighs 160lbs, anyone know what the factory unit weights are ?
85 GN -- Converted to 87 set-up using 66/72 turbo, front mount I/C, 80lb injectors,gn1 heads 14 bolt 1.65 roller rockers stud mount, ported intake with plate, fuel hot wire, 3" dp, running 24psi., alky kit, stroker 20 over, 212/206 roller,  best time 10.995 @ 121 1.56 60ft

Don't know, but I think somewhat less than that as I don't remember them being hard to move.  :D

I've got a 9" and the stock 8.5" here. I can pick up the 8' easily but the 9" is a struggle for me. That's empty, so they weigh a bunch more than stock. Cancel it and order a 12 bolt. You'll be much happier in the end.
And remember, when dealing with children, silence may be golden but duct tape is silver.

My buddy had 9" ends welded on with custom axles it's working good.
86 white T type with t tops and blackout trim. 60lb injectors Gen 2 with Extender Chip TR6 ignition 212/206 roller cam Turbonetics BB CPT 61 CAS V4 Intercooler Cobbled together Alky Injection 4 inch MAF pipe with integral sensor
2800 stall lots of fun with a little 6 banger!
