When it comes home with new paint, if there is any money left in savings, I want to install alky. Question is besides razors system, do I need other changes. I know I can adjust the TT chip settings to compensate but should probably send in for alky adjustments. Should I change O2 sensor or anything else??

Got car soda blasted to remove original paint. Problem now is engine bay is COVERED in white dust. Compressed air aint doing the trick. I really want to avoid using water but dont think I have much of an option at this point. If I do resort to this option, it would be sparingly with a hose using a misting sprayer. Any specific places I should try to wrap with plastic first or are there just way to many to cover??

While I have them off i was considering cutting the middle section out of the structural part of the bumpers, leaving the mounting sections at each end. Before the safety nuts freak out I get it this is probably not a great idea in that regard. My question is how much if any will this affect the structure of the car frame. I figure it would eliminate about 30 lbs per end.

Anyone had this done to anything. A local guy bought the equipment and showed me some pieces he did....on his examples you would never know its not chrome.
I ask because for just a chrome turbo shield its $250ish to buy one. He will chrome the shield, the up and MAF pipe, the valve covers and intake and the alternator and pulley/fan ( after I disassemble) for $200!

Another question. As I'm going to replace all the bushings, front and back, and insall the Hellwig rear sway bar. Would I get much benefit from also adding the Hellwig front sway bar ( part # 5700) in daily driving. From reading Steve's site I would remove it for track days. I can get one for $160

Yes this again. The wife shattered the glass in the drivers side mirror ( 07 Escalade EXT) backing out of the garage  She called dealership and they would replace the broken glass, not the whole mirror cause its okay, for.......$400! I went on ebay and have a new glass coming for ......$29.95. After some research it looks to be a 5 minute job to replace it that dosent even require tools, you push in and up on old mirror, reverse to replace new one. Again GM

Anyone here have the HRpartsnstuff rear sway bar installed. If you can believe the info they have it improves the daily driving of our cars alot. I'm interested because on mine I have wider front and back tires and it "wonders" alot. Their site says it drastically improves that condition. Helps launch at track to they say, not that important to me as mine aint that fast  Any real world report would be greatly appreciated!!

is there an adjustment on it that will help with partial throttle knock? example; 2nd gear half throttle with around 8-10 lbs boost SM will show up to 2 of knock. Or even roll into the throttle quickly up to maybe 3/4 throttle and I always get some knock. right now base knob is set to 3 and wot is set to 5.

Car going in end of month for a new paint job!! Super fired up  Should be in there about a month, worked out a deal where I'll do most of the remove and reinstall work to save cost. He estimates between $6,000 to $7,000 when done.

In my sig you can see what my car has. Been tweeking again and, running tuner style on the boost control, so far I can set boost to about 15 LB with no knock, but after the shift to 2nd it drops to only 12 LB and stays there through 2nd and 3rd.  Why Also an annoying issue, I have a knock alarm installed. Sometimes, not always, when I punch it from a stop the dam alarm goes off,( I know, thats what its supposed to do) so I lift, SM shows 3 at most of knock. How fast does a SM 2.1 update? I dont think its real knock but I dont want to risk it and stay in it.

Have a small oil leak, must be internal on the turbo, oil escapes at connection between turbo outlet and intercooler. Very small. I was going to remove intercooler and flush out with some gasoline, I'm assuming there is oil built up inside it also.
Reason for concern???

First what I have and then the question. 12 inch sub in custom, sealed enclosure, powered by single 200 watt amp. I want the bass to be crisper, that hit you in the chest sound. Now its okay but more muddy than crisp. If I port the enclosure will that help or hurt. Now the sub points to the rear of the car, was going to put a 3 inch port facing the front.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
