Was looking on Rock Auto for an Ign Control Module for the 87 GN and was wondering...
What is a Magnavox unit?

Magnavox is the original manufacture/supplier of the coil pack.  Don't remember if it was 1st or 2nd design. Then I think GM/ AC Delco made them

It was considered to be a slightly superior coil by some.

You end up buying that brand off rockauto, and if you did it work okay?  I managed to misplace mine and need a replacement.

I bought the Genuine GM D1996, Haven't installed.
Just thought I should have one in stock just in case...LOL

FYI: came with a  new coil gasket and mounting screws
